FOR FELLOWS AND TRAINEES
Dermatology appointments by telehealth continue to play an important role alongside traditional face-to-face consultations to ensure continuity of care and access to support. These have been particularly valuable throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the Australian Government’s COVID-19 National Health Plan, temporary MBS telehealth consultation items are in place.
Here you will find resources to help you and your broader practice or clinic teams to implement and provide safe and effective telephone and video consultations.
There is not one model that will suit every dermatologist and we encourage you to seek advice and support from experienced telehealth providers to get set up.
Your Faculty or College can direct you to an appropriate contact. They can also help you network with colleagues who could assist with telehealth requests.
