Dermatologist wanted to work in Miranda, NSW (Part-time or full-time)
Kingsway Dermatology & Aesthetics is looking for part time or full time dermatologists to join our practice.
Located in Southern Sydney, an area of dermatology need with an easy-going patient group with the highest skin cancer and melanoma rates in Sydney.
The practices new extension is due for completion January 2021. As for the rest of Kingsway Dermatology & Aesthetics the dedicated laser suite and consult and treatment rooms include HEPA & Carbon filtered and ionized air systems. Our existing large consult and treatment rooms along with waiting areas have also been redesigned to accommodate social distancing.
Co-located with the Kingsway Day Surgery (Ramsay Health) which is set up with rooms designed for Dermatology (plastics) and Mohs along with GA facilities for laser and other indications. The Specialist Medical Centre where we are located also includes many plastic surgeons several of whom we work closely with. Similarly we share many patients with a private oncology clinic and day hospital (Cancer Care Associates) and onsite radiology which are both also affiliated with SESLHD and The Sutherland Hospital.
We are also very fortunate to have a team of subspecialized nurses to assist in medical (biologics, patch testing, wound care, skin care-wet dressings, acne and rosacea), surgical and energy based device and laser plus cosmetic dermatology. They are all proficient in CO2 Laser assisted photodynamic therapy (with daylight, diode and Nordlys (CE) activation). Dermatologists interested in clinical trial work are also welcome to be part of our clinical trials and registry team which we are keen to grow.
Our practice is equipped with a good and growing range of energy based devices and lasers including high end intense pulsed light (Candela Nordlys), 1550nm NAFL (and soon 1940nm thulium), several CO2, radiofrequency, microfocused ultrasound, Nd:Yag and Waldmann whole and partial body phototherapy.
We also work closely with The Sutherland Hospital and SESLHD and The University of NSW Medical school. This includes plans for an accredited registrar training program 2021 which is being set up in collaboration with Ramsay Health Kareena Private and the Kingsway Day Surgery.
We are looking forward to other dermatologists joining Drs Sarah Hannam and John Sullivan in our practice.
