The Melanoma Institute of Australia are undertaking a pilot study with the University of Sydney to evaluate short term neoadjuvant sonidegib followed by surgery or imiquimod in the management of basal cell carcinomas in cosmetically challenging locations.

Patients must be over 55 years of age and have had a confirmed invasive basal cell carcinoma in a cosmetically challenging place for surgery.
