Dr Alexandra Varol

Dr Alexandra Varol reflects on the underlying message of the survey

Dr Alexandra Varol graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 1998. After working in general medicine for a number of years, she developed an interest in dermatology and undertook a period of research in
skin healing and rejuvenation in Australia, Sweden and Switzerland. She graduated with a Master of Science (Medicine) at the University of New South Wales in 2004.

Dr Varol undertook extensive specialist training in dermatology at St Vincent’s, Royal North Shore and Liverpool Hospitals, Sydney, as well as The Skin and Cancer Foundation, and has published many research and clinical papers in peer‐reviewed Australian and European dermatology journals.

Dr Varol is skilled in a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology, laser treatments and skin care and is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
