Melanoma screening summit
The Australian Skin and Skin Cancer Research Centre (ASSC) is convening a national Melanoma Screening Summit in Brisbane on 25 March 2019.
The event will bring together representatives from State and Commonwealth health departments, non-government organisations, researcher and consumer groups to discuss how to improve the way melanoma is detected and diagnosed in Australia.
It will host international and national experts over one day to establish the evidence needed to provide a road map for melanoma screening in Australia.
The event follows the success of the ASSC hosted Sunscreen Summit in March 2018, which achieved revisions to sunscreen policy in Australia and New Zealand.
