Support and Welfare Services

Our main focus is to promote general health and wellbeing, and to provide treatment, care and support services.

 

In 2016, the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) analysed the prevalence of bullying, discrimination, harassment and sexual harassment amongst the profession. The ACD views discrimination, bullying, harassment and sexual harassment in the workplace and in the ACD as completely unacceptable.

Updated action plan

Converge International is the appointed Employee Assist Program provider for the College. This service is available to all Fellows and trainees.

Services offered include confidential and private workplace and personal support, counselling, crisis management and referrals. Converge counsellors are qualified professionals experienced in the delivery of mental health and psychological support.

Converge services are available online and on the phone 24 hours a day. Visit Converge International or call 1300 687 327 to make an appointment with a Converge counsellor.
