About the Grant: The Australasian College of Dermatologists has established an award for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students /junior doctors to attend the College’s Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). The next meeting will be held in the Gold Coast, 19-22 May 2018.
The aims of the Award are to provide the following opportunities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students /junior doctors with an interest in dermatology:
Criteria for Eligibility: Applicants must be a medical student or junior doctor who identify as being Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and are members of the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association (AIDA).
The Award: Registration to the ASM and up to$1000 towards the cost of travel and accommodation.
Award Conditions: On conclusion of the ASM, award recipients are required to write a letter to the College’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs Committee with a post-conference report of approximately 500 words, which may be published by the College either in print or on its website.
